Iconic Style

Naturally, the name that rolls off everyone's tongue when asked who is an icon of style is Jackie Kennedy--Audrey Hepburn is usually uttered in the same breath. They say stereotypes exist for a reason, and I guess the same can be said for cliches. Who else has a style so timeless that many of the very items she chose are still in production 40 and 50 years later? My favorite era for Jackie were the Onassis years. The world had loosened up a bit, and so had she. Gone was the need for the white gloves and pillbox hats that were her mainstays in the White House. Now, she was leading a more relaxed lifestyle and her wardrobe choices reflected that.
